Career Track
Parthenon has a relatively flat organizational structure with only three major levels in the firm: associate, principal and partner.
The path from principal to partner typically lasts from five to seven years and evolves through multiple phases:
- Phase 1 - In this phase of professional development, you, as a principal, largely will focus on gaining the analytical skill set that is fundamental to generating insights for our clients, and on managing associates to help develop these insights as a team
- Phase 2 - As an experienced principal you will begin to actively manage entire projects, gaining primary responsibility for senior client relationships and the leadership of the team
- Phase 3 - Your final stage as a principal, prior to reaching the position of partner, involves the leadership of broad client relationships and projects with minimal oversight, and is accompanied by receiving the title senior principal.
While your principal career track roughly will follow these phases, Parthenon will not confine you to defined job descriptions or slow you down with promotion timelines. You will be bound only by your ability to successfully handle responsibility and deliver long-term results to clients. Advancement is based entirely on merit and accomplishment, not tenure.
